Biomes and Ecosystems

The green planet

Tunya, previously a gloomy, deserted planet, is now full of diverse, lively, and thriving organisms. Additionally, they have evolved to group themselves into different ecosystems and form a habitat. Their interactions with each other are mutual, although they are not necessarily dependent to one another.

As can be seen by the image of planet Tunya, most organisms, if not all, display some sort of green pigment, varying from very light tones of mint to deep and dark shades. In contrast to New Earth, Tunya does not have any desert or mountainous biomes at all. In fact, Tunya contains no biomes that can be found in planet New Earth, and that’s partly because water does not exist in the planet. Anyhow, in New Earth terms, Tunya only has one biome, and that biome resembles a tropical dry forest the most. The average temperatures in the biome go from 25˚C in the day to 20˚C at night, and there are hardly any fluctuations in the temperature. Occasionally, one may find wind that goes at a speed of 10 km/h, but barely does Tunya get any wind.

There are numerous ecosystems that exist in Tunya’s one biome. These range from terrestrial ecosystems to aerial ones. In terrestrial ecosystems, you can find forests that have tree-like organisms that vary in height, from extremely short to “Empire State Building” tall, as well as plant-resembling life forms that do not have leaves. In aerial ecosystems, one can find shape-shifting beings hovering in the air, as well as other bird-resembling ones.
